Slipknot Frontman Unmasks Kanye's 'Greatest Living Rock Star' Claim

Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor gave Kanye West a reality check when he disputed the rapper’s frequent ego-driven claim, saying in a video: “You are not the greatest living rock star of all time.”
Technically, West claimed to be the greatest living rock star on the planet, not of all time, which is a slightly more modest boast. That happened onstage just a few weeks ago during his Glastonbury set, but he first gave himself that label back in 2013, in an interview with DJ Zane Lowe.
But Corey Taylor wasn’t going to call out West without at least some evidence to support him. As he said: “The fact that you had to tell people that, kind of says it all.”
Another West skeptic is the Who's guitarist Pete Townshend and frontman Roger Daltrey, who recently denounced the rapper’s claim, also at Glastonbury. The '60s icons, who know a thing or two about great rock 'n' roll lifestyles, announced on stage: ""We’re going to send you home now with a rebellious, 'Oh yeah, who’s the biggest rock star in the world?"
Despite Taylor's anti-West video, the two do share at least one thing in common: a mutual love for masks. Lots and lots and lots of masks.
That’s all for today, but tonight on Yahoo Live we are streaming a performance from the incredibly talented EmiSunshine, who at only 10 years old is already a big name in country music. She starts at 6 p.m. PT, and for the best seats in the house, visit here.
